15.23 BST Bordeaux have confirmed Nice's France Under-21 international Anthony Modeste has signed a four-year contract at the Stade Chaban Delmas.
14.59 BST SPL giants Rangers have agreed a deal to sign former England striker James Beattie from Stoke City. Full story.
14.53 BST Roy Hodgson insists Christian Poulsen was not brought to the club as a replacement for Javier Mascherano and says he does not expect the Argentina captain to leave Liverpool in the imminent future.Full story.
14.48 BST Chelsea look set to complete the signing of Benfica midfielder Ramires by the end of today. "Ramires is doing medical tests again and we hope that he will sign a contract,'' said Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti.
14.42 BST West Ham United midfielder Scott Parker, who has been linked with moves to Liverpool and Tottenham over the summer, is close to signing a new five-year contract.

09.36 BST: Mario Balotelli is on a plane on his way to England. It is believed the Inter Milan striker will have a medical at Manchester City today.
09.33 BST: Any deal for in demand Germany star Mesut Ozil may depend on whether he plays in Werder Bremen's Champions League qualifier next Wednesday. If he is involved in the game it would make him ineligible to play for another team in the compeition.
09.28 BST: Marseille president Jean-Claude Dassier, says Hatem Ben Arfa is going nowhere, amid interest from Newcastle, Benfica, Hoffenheim and Genoa. Dassier said: "Hatem is part of our squad and it will stay that way. There is no serious offer from Newcastle. It's a crazy situation."
09.13 BST: Manuel Almunia will quit Arsenal if Arsene Wenger signs Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer, according to the Star.
09.07: The agent of Mauro Camoranesi has blamed Birmingham's Italian representative for the Italian's proposed move to St Andrew breaking down. He said: "If I organise a meeting in Turin and they tell me a figure, then I meet with Juve and come to an agreement with them, then I go to England and they tell me another number then the deal is blown."
08.56 BSTL'Equipe is expecting West Ham to launch a bid for PSG midfielder Stephane Sessegnon. The 26-year-old Benin international still has three years left on his contract with the Ligue 1 side.
08.48 BST: Aston Villa winger Ashley Young is reportedly a target for Liverpool and Spurs, but he will apparently wait until the new Villa boss is appointed before making a decision about his future.

08.32 BST: Naughty naughty Chelsea. Allgedly of course. Santos have accused the Blues of tapping-up Neymar and the Brazilian club's president is not impressed. Remember Chelsea were handed a transfer ban for indiscretions in their pursuit of Gael Kakuta and they could find themsleves in trouble if the accusations turn out to be true.
08.28 BST: Marseille fans will be waiting anxiously for news of Luis Fabiano's proposed 18 million euro move from Sevilla today, as talks will resume between the clubs and the player in the next few hours, according to L'Equipe.
08.21 BST: The Mail is reporting that Steve Bruce will use the £8 million from the sale of Kenwyne Jones to fund a move for Ghana World Cup star Asamoah Gyan,.
08.13 BST: Carlos Tevez looks like he will be heading out the Manchester City exit door...but only in a few years time. The Argentina striker admits that he is homesick and dreams of returning to Argentina in the future. He said: "Every day I have less will to continue playing in Europe. I will be there for two or three more years and then I will think about heading back to Argentina. Football doesn't make me happy or as fulfilled as before."

07.42 BST: According to El Mundo Deportivo, club sources at Barca have confirmed they are trying to sell Ibrahimovic to City but it depends on the striker's willingness to leave.

The Sun: Manchester City have offered Zlatan Ibrahimovic a four-year deal worth £96million, Tottenham have beaten a host of English clubs to sign 17-year-old Honduras whizkid Anthony Lozano, Steve Coppell quit Bristol City after two games because he didn't want David James.
Daily Mirror: City will pip Chelsea to Benfica defender David Luiz, Blackburn want to sign Stoke striker James Beattie despite Rangers making their move this week, Hatem Ben Arfa will go on strike to secure Newcastle move.
The Guardian: Chelsea have been given the go-ahead to complete the signing of Benfica midfielder Ramires, Manchester City are in talks with two clubs - perhaps Besiktas and Schalke - over a £20 million-plus Robinho deal, Manchester United do not expect to sign Mesut Ozil due to the player's indecision.
Daily Mail: Robinho is reluctant but willing to stay at City and fight for his place, Anton Ferdinand - linked with Palermo - has had a bust-up with Steve Bruce.
